timing gears will it work?

can i use my stock a6 cam gear on my y8 head ? are they the same, will it work?

i think the y8 cam is different because of VTEC, but im not sure

NO you can not, the timming is totally diff, unless u want you valves to hit your pistons when vtec hits, go ahead...
