I had my oil pan gasket changed two weeks ago because of an oil leak...well its still leaking oil from god knows where..the oil is getting onto where my header connects to my cat and is burning up causing it to smell and smoke...there are no noticable traces of oil from the engine bay view of things...where else could I be leaking from? Its really pissing me off..

 

Oil filter? Sending unit? Transmission?

 

no ******* clue...have no means of jackin the car up to take a look...look like its back to hacura...

 

Why dont you go under the car clean all the leaking oil and follow the leaks and trace it down. You might slove your problem and double check the oil filter.

 

take a look at the crankshaft seal (i think) near the timming belt. look for leaks. if there is $$$$

 

yeah your gonna have to jack the car up and get under there to see where is coming from because if you don't then your never going to find out. Put it up on a curb half way and lay in the gutter under it thats what I had to do to change my oil back in the day...

 

i think im gunna invest in a jack or somthing...

 

maybe ur oil pan dont fit well and flat, im guessing.....
