Can't find the oil leak.
I'm having an oil leak on a d15b7 that I can't figure out. The oil is coming from the back of the engine on the oil filter side. The back of the oil pan is covered in oil and it looks like around the oil filter has oil on it too. I plan on jacking it up this weekend and looking more closely.
I have already replaced the front crankshaft seal, oil pan gasket, rear main seal was new, valve cover gasket, PCV oil seperator gasket, and I have changed the oil but the car has leaked with an old filter and a new filter.
The car leaks about a quart every 200miles or 7 days. It does leak even when it sits. Not sure if it stops after a while or not though. I'm sort of at a loss on what to check now. Like I said I'm going to look at it more this weekend.

Re: Can't find the oil leak.
I would of guessed rear main seal, sure it was put on right?
You can buy dye at the parts store, put in the crack case. Wait a day or 2 after driving, sometimes you can see the dye without the special light. I added dye and when I was in for servicing the tech let me use his glasses and light in the shop.
Are you sure there is no top end leak, did you check the dizzy o ring area, valve cover area, long shot headgasket area etc.

Not sure if our vehicle has it or not, but the VTEC solenoid gasket? That was my problem at one time... it could also be the dizzy o-ring and the oil is traveling on the lip of the head around to the back...

check the the oil pressure sensor it has one wire hook up on the back of the block next to the oil filter they crack in the middle and they only leak when the car is on
