Default REAR WINDSHIELD WIPER

hey guys! I want to take out my rear 95 integra windshield wiper to make it look like a R, but I have to cover the hole. How do you cover it? what part is that ? I went to ACURA dealer and asked them about it, but they said acura dont make that lug. Thanks

97 R's did not have a rear wiper, and there have been MANY threads about this, including an article on team-integra.net.

Well what i used was a firewall plug... I can't remember the part number but if you just go to Acura and tell them you need the little rubber firewall plug it works great...

If you're going for looks i think that stuff will work fine. I personally like mine and find it quite handy with the seattle like weather we've been having lately.

The plug is on the right side of the firewall. Its up high, so it wont leak or anything like that.

this is what you do: go to Honda dealership and tell them you need the rear wiper plug from a 92-95 Civic hatch. It fits perfectly and you just reuse your rubber gasket between the plug and the windshield and reinstall the screw that goes through it to hold it in! I've done it to my 95 and also now to my 92. Looks like it came that way!

you can kinda see it here:

There is a plug under my hood on the right side right behind the batterry to cover an extra hole that every integra from 94-01 has it, but I dont noe about the older year. I could use that one but its kinda a bit small for the windshied wiper one. Or maybe I'll go to Honda dealer and get the one for 92-95 hatch instead. I know that I have to pay a liltle bit more for it, but thats ok...............thankz guys...........

As Patrick stated, with the exception of the 97 R, all US R's had rear wipers. So I was forced to make that my vote in the poll

But yea, firewall plug works great and silicone isn't even needed.

you know that with an ls you have a sunroof and Rs dont. so thats gonna give it away right there. If thats what you are trying to do is pass it off as if its an R you are gonna fail.
