Abs Speed Sensor... Abs light is on...
i have an acura 94 integra and i checked the codes already is saying 4-2 left tire speed sensor.. i cleaned the sensor already and checked if its' properly installed and it is... now it still giving me the code. can anybody tell me how to tell if the sensor is bad or the axle has something to do with this... i just want to get rid of my abs light... pls... help.. thank you.

i did do the search already, nothing like my problem... i did all the neccessary things already.. found the code, saying speed sensor now i brush the speed sensor a little and cleaned it also.. and reset the computer but same problem still keep coming up.

i'm in the same boat as well....except i think my abs code is 4-1..any help would be good instead of people telling you to search......

yeah my code is 4 2 and i just need an suggestion on what i can do... should i change the sensor... but it looks like it's in good condition..

The FSM lists two checks you can do on the sensor itself to see if it is functioning properly. First, check the resistance between the two leads. It should be in the range 700-1100 ohms for the rear sensors and 600-900 ohms for the front sensors.
The second check is to test for continuity between the number two wire on the connector and ground. (first unplug the 2P connector, then check between pin2 going to the sensor and ground) if there is continuity, the sensor is bad.
