Default b16 head on GSR Block

Just wanted to know what was required to make this setup work.
This setup would be my "poor mans Civic Type-R"

Not a whole lot. Its a pretty straightforward swap.
GSR timing belt and headbolts.
Not really a whole lot different about this setup. Pretty much use all GSR stuff
on the block, and all B16a stuff on the head. probably have to redo the coolant lines,
but its really not difficult.

Why would you want to -Unless you have a GSR block but no head- you'll actually lose compression, won't you? The only advantage I can see is having better IM choices.

If your going to put another head on any block you might as well do a little Port & Polish to the head.

DIY P & P is an easy way to make some free HP, just takes a lot of patients and steady hands with the dremel.

If you're gonna do this, only do the exhaust ports. Leave the intake ports alone, they require more know how, and I believe the rough surface promotes the tumble effect of the incoming air.

I would assume that most people doing this type of thing would probably have changed the pistons to their liking anyhow.
