over-rev...now motor is weaker....

Default over-rev...now motor is weaker....

i got a stock b16 and i overreved it the other day. my bad!!!! motor starts perfect, but now it won't climb steep roads like it used to. i need to push on the gas alot more to make it go up. i know i messed my motor up bad (maybe bent valves, springs, etc), but anybody know other symptoms? thanks.

Probably bent a valve or 2. Check compression on all cylinders. What you get for being m4d tYt3 JDM y0!

Yup, try a compression/leakdown test to see what you broke if you don't want to just pull off the head and take a look.

If its not your motor it may be your transmission slipping. Do the compression test, etc but if that all comes back fine. I would take a good look at the tranny.
