The people that have done DIY Shortened Shocks!
please refer to this page https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=469485
ive been procrastinating for a long time now and i wanted to shorten my shocks on my illumina's. in this thread, i wanted the people that have done this to post some "tip and tricks" on doing this. i dont have a grinder, so will a dremel be a good substitute? what kind of bit should i use? please, post your experiences and problems encountered along w/ solutions.
NOTE: im talking about moving the fork seat 1in higher not the upper hat mounts.

dont confuse this mod with "short stroke" shocks, short stroke shocks are, in simple terms, shorter shocks. This mod is more so, a further mounting point than actual shortened shocks
