Default wtb: coolant temp sensor

i need one that works . its the one that is in the thermostat housing . if it matters its for a 94 b18b. but i think there all the same from b series and d series . let me know what you have and a price thanks

the one on the thermostat housing is not the coolant temp sensor... its the auxiliary fan swith and it should be the one with the brown housing. i have one if you want it for $20 shipped tomorrow afternoon. the only thing is that the housing has a chip but the plug plugs in perfect and does not affect it from working. another this is that if the temperature gauge isn't working then its not the sensor on the thermostat housing. also mine is from a b16b civic type r motor.

yea the gauge in the car is working but my car is throwing a code 6 so i figured it was the sensor on the thermostat housing .

whats code 6?? is it the auxiliary fan switch.

it says that code 6 is engine coolant temperature.

i might be able to get you a temperature sensor but this sensor is not the one on the thermostat housing its the one on the block underneath the left side of head on the top part of the block. it looks like a nipple when unplugged. give it to you for $20 shipped
