Hey guys, I've been lurking here for a while, never really had anything to say/ask until now. See the problem is I just got my A/c system recharged, but now everytime I turn my A/c on the car gets really shaky and whenever I come to a complete stop the car turns off on me. I really have no clue as to what may be causing this or how to fix it. The car is a 1995 Ej2 (Civic Dx Coupe). I know there are a lot of knowledgeable people here on Honda-tech, so please help me out. Thanx in advance.

P.s. I live in Houston and as some of you may know drivng around in Houston without A/c is ******* brutal.

 

who charged it? have you checked the psi?

does the ac work good?

 

belt tension to tight maybe, a/c clutch almost locked up could me a few things ... how much did u run the a/c before u recharged it?

 

Update: I was driving around today and I turned on the A/c and the **** made a popping sound and all kinds of smoke came out up under my hood! I gonna call the guy that recharged my system a call later and have him explain to me what he fucked up.
