ls/vec HELP!!!!!
here is the problem...I have a b18a block bored .20 over, eagle rods,knifed crank, lightened flywheel, act clutch, Ferrea valves(stock size), skunk2 springs retainers and stock b16 cams with cam gears. I also have walbro 255 fuel pump,stock gsr injectors,fuel rail and regulator. The b16 head has been ported and polished...with a 68mm str throttle body.Intake headers and exhaust. NOW MY QUESTION IS THAT I AM USING A CHIPPED P72 COMPUTER OBD1, WITH CHANGED FUEL MAPS AND ALL THAT CRAP..BUT THE MOTOR IS RUNNING EXTREMELY RICH. iT SPUTTERS A BIT(TIMMING IS FINE) AND IT DUMPS MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF FUEL DURING VTEC, CAUSING PLUGS TO FOUL OUT, nOW IT ALSO IS RUNNNG RICH AT IDLE. i HAVE TRIED TO LEAN IT OUT BOTH LOW AND HIGH THROTTLE, BUT NO LUCK...ANY SUGGESTIONS????
I am running uberdata, and a vtec contoller...but my tuner told me to run one or the other, because te vtec controller was interferring with the chip. My fuel pressure right now is 20 psi.
20 PSI is really low. With stock injectors you should be running very lean (not good). Sure the car is running rich? Get to your tuner ASAP.
i mean if anything with the pistons im using (11:8) i would think i would need more fuel. But do you think the vtec controller is cancelling outthe uberdata..and should i remove the controller and just put everything back to stock and just run uberdata?
