00 civic si harness does not plug into p73 ecu?
I have a 96 jdm itr going into 2000 dx civic. I got all my necessary bolt and mounts. I bought a usdm 00 itr removed immobilizer ecu. I just bought a 2000 civic si engine harness but only the gray and blue plug will fit the ecu and not the green plug. Do I need some sort of adapter or so? I plug this ecu into my dx wire harness and all three plugs right up but couldnt crank becuase I didnt swap out the pins. I tested this usdm p73 ecu on my buddy's 2000 teg and crank right up after you turn on the engine for a few sec. But why wont the civic si harness plug A(i believe, the green plug) will not fit the itr ecu except the other 2 will plug up and all three plugs from my dx wire plugs up? Need some help........thanks..
I believe the si was the only one with OBD2b and all other honda civics had OBD2a Not sure, i have a 93 civic.
Check out this picture and see which ecu is with which harness. I would just hook the ecu up to your dx harness and add the wires that needs to be there.

I would say just add the wires to the dx harness, but that's just me. I don't have any idea why the 00 ecu wouldn't work on the 00 dx harness, both are obd2b. go figure....

The green plugs connects to your interior harness. The third grey plug is on your interior harness. I have the same car, same motor and same engine harness. It is all plug and play. If the usdm itr ecu fits your dx harness, it will fit your si harness as well. You'll understand when you pull the dx harness out. I thought the samething when I first picked up the si harness thinking it was missing a plug.
