Default 3 inch exhuast

okay i'm about tp put a b18a1 im my crx. it will be all and i use a bisimoto header.
i plan on using three inch exhuast piping back to an Apexi N1 turbo muffler. any idea about how this might sound?

lots of bb's + tin can + fart = your car
plus you'll lose power with that big of exhaust.

I run a 3 , but I have a larger motor than yours.. It's sounds like crap in my eyes, but alot of people say they have never heard another like it. I would stick to 2.5 with your setup.

i think that 3 in is a little too large unless you are running very high compression or a tubo setup. u need to retain some backpressure

This is not true.. Why on earth would you want any back pressure at all.. You want to choke the motor? You want to retain exhaust velocity so the exhaust scavenges itself. But you never want backpressure. Thats an old myth

Carsound 3in cat , 3 in jc whitney stainless bends, magnaflow center/offset turbo truck muffler. No room for a resonater. Cat is just before the first turn.

i hope your making over 230whp. one of my friends just went with the h-t flow of putting in a 3" on his setup and man did he lose a good amount of power up to 8rpm and then ended up gaining 4whp at 8900rpm he had 202 now has 206whp nice he got more peak hp but everywhere else tunning and tunning and it still sucked below 8rpm
