Lucy! You got some splainin' to do!
It's a good deal Ricky, just fix the damn thing and hopefully there aren't anymore problems to deal w/. Because then you could have bought a legit motor for the price of having to fix this one. Good luck

ummmm...if hes a mechanic i dont think it would be stolen..the thing u need to worry about is if the blown piston is the only problem. Seeing how he is a mechanic he could be tellin u all this BS just so u will buy the motor from him..then again he is ur friend so if I were u I would buy it..and if u have lots of problem with it u will know if hes a true friend or not...

i dont care if its stolen or not ,,, I think is a good deal btw we have been friends since we graduate frome hs , that was 3 years ago so i dont thing he rip me off anyways the cylinders are in good shape no scratchs around the cylinder wall (that what I fear ) but the only thing is that were the area of the piston ring and the top part of it is kinda broken i remove the head this morning and I saw that but anyways anyone know were can I buy like a some,,,, taipa RRrrrrr piston
It's pretty hard to "blow up" a piston without some damage to:
1.) the rod
2.) the crank
3.) the sleeve
4.) the block (if #3)
5.) the bearings
6.) the valves
Now, if you trust his judgement that all of the above are perfectly fine and within OEM spec, it'll probably work out and you'll have a fine car. If not, you're paying $1000 for nothing. End of story.

YEA i CHECK THE ENGINE CODE B18C1 AND IN A FEW PARTS THAT SAID P72 WELL IS THERE ANYONE NEAR maryland so it can help me to swamp my motor I live on gaithersburg md
Your mexican friend has a gsr motor and wants to sell it to you for 1,000 dollars...
It may be stolen you know...but...you could always find out and make sure its NOT by cheking out the identification number right? Check that first. If it's legit, and thats the only problem with it, its worth it IMO.
