Has anyone ACTUALLY put a muffler on a dump tube?

I've seen threads describing lawnmower mufflers, scooter mufflers, etc.

Has anyone put a muffler on their open dumptube? Any boost creep as a result?

very interesting, I'm guessing you want to do this on a open dump tube to
quiet it down?

I think that with it re-routed into the exhaust it would be less restrictive than a lawnmower muffler. That may really hurt the flow. ..

Magnaflow straight in straight out round 2" muffler. Part # 10414. Quieted down my TiAL 44mm dump quite a bit.

porsche has used small strait through mufflers on thier wastegates for years and keeps the noise down pretty good.

There was a car on the cover of Honda Tuning or one of the other mags that had a CBR muffler on the dump. I personally don't mind the sound of my dump. It howls nicely in tune with my open DP
