Default WHAT HAS HONDA DONE TO MY CAR?!!?

so i take my 89 crx si to honda because of a serious braking problem (fronts dont work.) They tell me my brake diaphragm has busted and my brake booster etc is shot. they also change my timing belt because the fluid has leaked onto and ruined it. . So i come back the next day and drive the car away. Only to discover IT DOESNT ACCELERATE. I floor it in 1st gear and it literally takes about 5 seconds to get to second. After second, theres no use in shifting because i cant get a far enough straightaway to get it past 5 or 6k rpms. If i shift before then, it begins to bog down. here are my mods

JR supercharger on d16 running 10 pds of boost w/ boost guage
JR fuel pump
JR fuel pressure regulator (at 34 pds) w/ pressure guage
DC headers, powercore race cat, cust. 2.5 inch exhaust
MSD Boost timing master w/ air/fuel guage.

The supercharger is working because the boost guage tells me its boosting and i can hear it. The FPR is still at 34 pds. ANOTHER THING is, the car is a LOT louder than it used to be (and i mean A LOT.)
Could this be a timing issue? if so, would it really make THIS much of an impact? i mean, i cant even make it up hills without flooring it in second now. some vacuum issue with my pedal or something?!? please help!!

sounds like horrible timing, for a boosted car, it shouldnt be that sluggish. then again i have my timing at -20 and i still drive fine, slow as hell but it drives fine.

Sounds like bad valve timing. Since they replaced the timing belt I would say they screwed it up. The increase in noise level might be valves lightly slapping the pistons.

Sounds like a mighty interesting leak, if it's true... would require pictures for me to believe it.

Tards and Timing belts don't mix.

pull of the belt cover and look at the gears, they're probably off by a couple teeth possibly combined with some nasty ignition timing. don't freak out until you check ignition and mechanical timing!

I say they they took your car for a spin and blew something up. I say this because I just can't imagine how some one could **** up a belt change on a SOHC, its just two pulleys one on bottom and one on top, how hard could it be?? Also, word of advice, do not touch any thing around the car, take is back to the dealer as soon as possible and tell them what happened in a nice way, if they don't fix what was wrong with the car make it a legal issue.

The power problem is fixed anyway. Timing was way off because the belt had slipped. Thanks to those who gave me great advice.

was it a problem of them not getting the tensioner tight enough. for a honda dealership to **** something up that bad is pretty rare. did they take care of it or what was the deal. also are you sure you didnt incure any internal damage?

they said they installed the belt and put the timing to stock specifications. When they got the car back after i complained, they used the timing light right away and saw it was way off. They werent sure if a mechanic had done it wrong or the belt had just slipped but this was the first time (they say) they had the problem. from what i understood the spark was occuring after the pistons were on their way down. *yikes*

A brand new belt shouln't slip. And if it did, that means that they didn't put it on right. either way you slice it, they did it wrong. If it was running like crap, I would have never left the dealership. But it is fixed. so oh well. Good thing that it didn't cause any other damage like bent valves, you would of had to pull teeth to get them to replace them. They couldn't even admit they made a mistake? My dealership here is nice. they cop to everything. and fix it right away!
