Default TPS sensor question

so i replaced my throttle body today, and installed the old sensor...and noticed it had an adjustment...will this affect performance in any way if its not in the right place? and also how would i kno when its at the right point? thanx

yes it will effect performance if its not set right....get a volt meter and set it to 4.5v open.

aiight what wire should i have a voltage signal at? theres 3 wires.

how did you remove your old TPS? I've looked at mine before when I took off my TB and the TPS has two allen type of screws.

with f*cking pliers...it turns out like a normal screw but be advised dat dey are a biitch! have fun lol

i set my tps to like .6 ohms of resistance at idle and 4.5 ohms of resistance @ WOT......is dat how its suppossed to be set....it's pulling real strong so i guess its good..

should be set to about .5 volts at closed, and 4.5 at WOT. measure the voltage of the middle wire, with the tps plugged in
