Default Dropzone SHOCKS - better than stock???

Ok here is the deal...... I have searched and found A LOT of horrible feedback on the dropzone coilovers and springs but hardly any info on the SHOCKS. I already have ground control coilovers that have not yet been installed, but my stock struts are going bad and I need to replace them when I install the gc's. The only thing is, I'm on a really tight budget right now. I don't really care for high performance struts such as koni yellow, tein or Tokico at THIS moment, although I plan to upgrade to a better strut in the future. Although I want cheap, I don't want to sacrifice my ride quality so I was wondering if the DROPZONE SHOCKS are better than the factory struts, equal too, worse, or should I just brake kill bank account and spend an extra $100 on some kyb's?
Knowledgable feedback would be great! Please no negative comments if you do not have experience with this product or do not know of someone who has dealt with this product.

Thanks

I got em on my car. There not as bad as people say they are. I got mine lowered over 2' and the ride is actully pretty good.

Remember, if you're lowered a decent amount due to the Ground Controls, you will most likely blow any cheap shock you put on there. Plus, depending on your rates, you may be underdamped, causing a bouncy ride, hence worsening your ride quality. I would save some more and get some OTS Koni Yellows and wait to install the GCs. No sense in having to do the whole job over again. Plus if you do it right the first time, you save money.

But that's just my opinion. If you don't drop the car a whole lot with the GCs then the cheap shocks will probably hold out until you get something better, but remember the ride may be bouncy.

Exactly what I would have said.

also invest in top hats from GC to avoid bottoming out the shock.
