OKei all heres the situation...

I have a 93 SI 5 spd..I bought the car with a thrown rod that punched a hole in the block. I was hoping to find a short block h23 adn have a perfect car....well all the h23s i have found are outragous in price, and no one really wants to sell only a shortblock so....I bought a 92 S that was rolled and swapped the f22 into the 93..all the connections plugged in and the exhust bolted right up..now it starts fine, but has a CEL light on.. also if you rev it a bit it stumbles and wants to die..also wants to die with the AC on, like its not idleing up...

my question is , has anyone done this swap? ( I know its kinda backwards...h23 to f22 if so do you have any idea what my problem could be?

also how do i pull the codes? I tried the search function but didnt really get what i needed.. maybe if i pull the codes i can see whats not working right...

to pull the code look on the floor behind the center console (under the stereo). There are 2 plugs down there, one gray one blue. unplug the blue one and stick a paper clip in so that both ends contact the metal pieces. Look at the cel light now. long blinks count as 10, short blinks count as one. Go to c-speedracing.com and look up the code under FAQ section.

 

which wires do i cross.. the blue plug has 3.......
