serious stalling issues HELP!!!
unfortunately, my hesitations and stalling issues were not rectified when i replaced my distributer (*sigh*)... and last night, my car hesitated violently several times, and at a stop light, my car stuttered, the oil light came on, then the CEL came on and the motor cut out... after 5 attempts, i finally got the motor to turn on again... i've had issues with the CEL in the past, but the oil light coming on really worries me... i'm trying to get the codes for the CEL light, but it's kinda difficult when the CEL goes away after each time i restart... HELP!!!
well, that's the problem... i can't get the CEL code since i have to restart the car (so that i can get myself back home)... and unfortunately, the CEL goes away when i restart it...
where exactly is the wire harness that i need to tap into to jump the CEL to get the code? i know it's behind the center console somewhere, but does anyone know exactly where it is?

i think you need to look at the obvious first being the battery/,maybe needs charge or replaced. have it tested.to check for codes behind the kick panel there is a service connector which you jump and then you read your cel blips to get the code there was a real informative website concerning that topic.but i would check the charging system starting with the batterry

that's the site i believe you may be referring to...
if i was having problems with battery, wouldn't i have problem starting the car and such? also, wouldn't my stereo be acting up? i really doubt that there's a problem with that or the alternator, but i'll check anyways...
so does anyone know where the wire harness is for the CEL so that i can jump the circuit? (i have a 95 accord ex-r)...

after doing some thinking... i began to consider that the ground for the ECU might be at fault... maybe it's loose or something... where on the car does the ECU ground for a 5G Accord?
