new to sight, i have a 96 gsr, i put a turbonetics kit on it and now im having trouble with it. it starts to sputter at around 4400-4500 or win vtec engages
i have a check valve and a 255 fuel pump and safc with injectors. i took it to a local shop but they couldn't help. any info would be great.

I'm assuming you're running all 4 after market injectors? Do you have any additional injectors? It could be the fuel line or it could be your oil.

 

Might it be bad tuning, perhaps? I've heard of Vtec gettin in the way of boost before.

I'd say its a problem with your vtec you need a controller for it and I'd recommend talking to the guys in the FI forum as soon as you can they have always helped me out with my questions.

What are the specs of the Turbonetics kit you are using?

What psi are you running? Does that kit have (or do you have) any fuel modifications, such as an FMU or some other fuel management devide?

You have an S-AFC or do you have an V-AFC? You said S-AFC, but I'm just making sure.

EDIT: And you have a single check valve?

im running 9psi i also have 255 fuel pump + 400cc injectors
S-AFC, single check valve

 

vtec will do that stuff with turbo
they work against eachother more than together
