Injectors!?!
Pretty soon i plan on going turbo but i don't understand the concept of Injectors and what sizes to get. If i'm running just the Drag kit will i need to upgrade my injectors? I've been reading previous threads about people using the RC 440's and 550's but im not sure which applications i need.

Re: Injectors!?! (Nick)
If you plan on doing a stand alone fuel system (modified ECU that can read boost and compensate by sending more fuel into the intake) you should get larger injectors to be able conpensate for the larger demand.
Larger injectors will never hurt...but be sure you have some kind of system (wheter it'd be a piggy back like a fuel controller) or complete stand alone that can recognize it. and use them correctly.

Maybe someone can answer this better but i think 310's is the max a factory ecu can still idle with. You can use a piggyback fuel controller but 550's i think are still to big. You need a stand alone for them.

Re: Injectors!?! (DLB1994)
Dude...lets put it this way...I made the mistake of buying a 'reliable' piggy back fuel system. A lot of people have good luck with these things, but I didn't. My car run so rich, that it smells like gas all the time....well I gave up! I got some 450cc's, an A'pex-i Power FC, and borrowed some cool looking maps...haven't put everything in yet, but I already know it'll be better than my current setup.
Moral of the story: Instead of wasting a $100 here, $400 there, etc...(which you will be doing to tune your car right) Just get a proven stand alone and some injectors and be done with it!
