connecting tranny to motor. being a pain
Ok I tried to connect them while in the bay, with no luck so I took the engine back out. Pulled the tranny out after finding out how to do so. Now im trying to put them together outside the bay.
Well this isnt going too smoothe either. Is their some method that makes this easy? right now im just picking the tranny up and trying to get it to slide in. Its a D15b2 and 5 speed tanny. Any help plz! i wanna drive my car again!!!

have you taken the clutch out? if so you have to use a clutch alignment tool.... is it the same tranny and engine that was in the car? if not then check the placement of the dowel pins..... sometimes one will stick in the same location on both parts if they are different parts from different cars....... know what i mean? in the same hole on the tranny and the engine will some times be a dowel in both.... if neither is the case then you should be able to just slide the two together like real smooth like..... just make sure you are going at it straight...... and not at any angles........ good luck..... pm me if you need more help
make sure the alignment dowel pins didnt get bent or anything happened to me and i c ouldnt figure why it wouldnt go in..... tell i took it off and saw a bent dowel
