I understand the concept of the CAI
I (kinda) understand Boost

But can some one explain, (or tell me a good place to read about)
the difference in:
Headers,
what 4-2-1 pipe acutally means and does.. (not just goes from 4 to 2 to 1)

Just different performance upgrades...

4-2-1's offer better low end torque.
4-1's offer better horsepower at high rpm's.

 

its just basiclly the design of how the exhaust gas goes through your headers, 4-2-1 exahust gas goes from 4 tubes, into two tubes, then out one to your exhaust, 4-1 your exhaust goes from 4 tubes into 1 tube into your exhaust.

 

I personally think that that a great place to learn about headers, exhausts, etc. is the tech archives in the integra forum of

It answers many questions and quotes many people in the know about headers like SMSP and HyTech.
