exhaust or headers for my ep3?
Should i get exhaust for headers first for my ep3? and does it matter if I mix the types. say DC headers with skunk 2 exhaust? or even hayame exhaust.

Get an exhaust. It'll sound better and it's the more logical choice. If you get headers with your stock catback, you're just bottle-necking the exhaust gasses.

It would depend on what type of header you are getting? Short or Racing? Because you might not like how it sounds or bolt up to your header if you went with exhaust before header...I started off with Injen cai and comptech short (4-1) which gave me more high end but didn't lose too much of low end...And then I went with the HKS Hi-power exhaust, it lost alot of low end but leveled out in the high end... I've dynoed 153whp on a dynapack but forgot the torque which I knew the torque was low...Now I'm tying to decide if I should just get a racing header to replace my short but since I live in the lands of emissions and cops who will pull you over for just an aftermarket exhaust I'm having 2nd thoughts too...All in all it is up to you...but remember, if your going to do it right, do it right the first time...
