I just got a good deal on dc sport headers 4-1, Not JDM, US. Would there be any type of say, backpressure without a larger exhaust? Is it pointless to get new headers without adding a larger exhaust? I'm sure it would help open things up better, but...one mod at a time. So should I save up for an exhaust next?

Would it help?? Yes but very little. You need to open the whole exhaust up to get marginal gains. I would save up for a 2 1/2" exhaust, header with 2 1/2" collector and a 2/ 1/2" cat.

well, i got it just recently....I/H/E atleast for now....thats prbly all until next spring.......nothing huge like a turbo or anything.

I dunno about you, but I only have one Header on my Integra.

dump the 4-1 and get a comptech 4-2-1 ..also kill the resonator ...order a muffler and get custom 2.5 inch piping all the way to the back ...it will save u some money and the gains will be better...

wouldn't the money saved on custom job be made up by buying the comptech 4-2-1?

wouldnt a 2.25 ince exaust be better on a stock ls integ then a 2.5?

I would think the 2.25 would be better than the 2.5

how would a 2.25 be better than 2.5? endless it has less restrictive bends in the exhaust.

backpressure, its like running a 3" exhaust on a non FI car its kinda pointless

get a USDM TYPE R B pipe and muffler you will be all set
