ExMag features - quietest exhaust note on the market (most applications) - refined stealth like appearance - ceramic coated mandrel bent piping - dyno proven gains in horsepower and torque - engineered in Japan - signature RS-R exhaust tip
With the street performance enthusiast in mind, RS-R developed the ExMag exhaust line to provide powerful gains in horsepower and torque while retaining a quieter exhaust note. It is a well known fact that it is extremely difficult to produce an exhaust system that makes good power without the excessive noise. However, through extensive R&D at RS-R Headquarters in Japan, all ExMag systems have been dyno proven to provide significant power increases over similar exhaust systems. Our "Exhaust Magic" lineup offers an excellent alternative to the noisy "coffee can" style of exhausts.
If you're tired of getting tickets and citations for excessive noise, this is the exhaust system you need. The classic styling and stealth like design will also help keep your car off the radar.
The signature RS-R exhaust tip expels exhaust from the muffler to produce a subtle look and quiet sound. This sleek style and quieter exhaust note, makes the Ex-Mag the ultimate street application.

and plus i dont want some big *** rice tip at the end anymore, i want the stock look w/o the stock restrictions. the big pipe just gives cops more reason to pull you over for a modified exhaust, which i just got pulled over for on aug 1st
I love my ExMag R*SR. It is still high flow without the noise. Everything that blurb says about the exaust is totally true. Even though the tailpipe is a little larger, the rolled tip makes it look alot closer to stock.
If you are going for the sleeper style this exaust is the only choice.

i dont really care about sleeper style.. i want legal. i got poped for a modified exhaust.. which i dont see why i'd get pulled over for that.. considering what do people do when there exhaust pipes are all rusted and eaten up, what are you supposed to do then.
on a scale from 1-10.. how quite is the exmag?

I rock the RSR and it's the best money I spent on my car. Looks nice too. My motor drowns out the exhaust. Super quiet at idle, sounds nice in 4k-5k rpm, screams at 7.5k. High cam profile on my GSR cams are pretty loud with the short ram intake.
The Greddy SP will rust over time and the stuff inside the glasspack will fall out as well. Forget rust with the RS*R it's gonna last and mine looks brand new after a year.

quiteness for aftermarket exhaust is pretty dann loud...even quiter with silencer....i dont know about greedy sp1 or sp2,,,,,,,but i know their exhaust has RESONATOR..and they seem pretty short (short resonator = louder exhaust tone and uglier raspy) RS_R pretty quite compared to other but aint quite enough....if u want quiter get more resonator but in this case you would need to recustomizing ur exhaust.....If so just get piping man....cat + 24" or longer resonator(reduced very minor hp, not noticeable) + pipin + muffler + high heat paint + anti rust high heat paint ===== stainless steel exhuast + good power + goodass deep sound = gansta.
save lot of money too
hope that will help you out little

it help's, but i think im just goin to go with the exmag, but not exactly sure. i mean i love how the tip isnt no big *** canalope looking size. but i got a question. if anyone that has this setup with a DA can answer this Q. but, on our DA's, the pipe comes out the passanger side, then the muffler goes across long ways, then a elbow pipe is bent to aim out back. how does this setup work?
You guys can try the ITR catback exhaust. It's, of course, very quiet, but has less restrictions when compared to the stock integra ls/gsr exhausts. It sounds like stock at idle...and it opens up and growls 4k and up. I'm not sure how it compares to the rsr though, but I think it's the best stock exhaust out there that's less restrictive...plus it's cheap too (retail pricing from Acura is probably 240 or so...but you can always find it cheaper elsewhere). Hope THAT helps.
