Exhaust Systems?? Not Loud. Good Flow....Which one?
Like the Topic says.
Looking at a Quiet Exhaust System that will Produce mad Flow+++ and Help Benefit the motor to Breath just as good as an open DP. But at the same time..Just as Quiet as a Stock Muffler...(Perferbly)
Its a Boosted B18C Hatch.
Really want to have a Stock Style Muffler if possible. (Not asking for a Ticket)
Throw some Pics. or Recommendations?

If you want a low deep tone 2.5" exhaust - i recommend the GReddy Evo exhaust. It sounds amazing. Better than the World sport exhaust also IMO.

i think you should do your own custom 3 inch piping to a type r muffler. somone told me that you can flare out a muffler from like a 2 inch to a 3 inch that way you have no restrictions.;

I got a 3" to the OE Muffler. it's too restrictive...
The case now is to look for a Axle-Back or Muffler to Free up that Flow.
As for the Greddy Evo...my buddy had it on his ride N /A...Too Loud!
and other buddy had it on his Boosted Hatch and it was quieter but not when your @ WOT.
The Greddy Evo:
1) You can hear it when you start the car up...No Good...
2) Every Gear Change when cruising & WOT...NopE...
3) Cop Attraction of the Canister...Lose it..
ITs Louder OUTSIDE than when your INSIDE Rollin..
Leaning towards the Apex WS or Greddy SP..

dont go with apex ws or rs-r exmag they both are prolly way to small and restrictive
i have apex ws on my prelude. way too restrictive for turbo
but quiet though
how about a cutout on stock exhaust

Exactly. That seems to be the only way to have a truly "quiet" exhaust while having free flow at the click of a button.

so many people evaluate their exhausts by saying "it's good" or "it's not too loud at all" but its all relative...
my perfect exhaust system would sound like the one on the g35

you need a v6 for that sound. my dream one would be one like an old mustang or camaro. anyways, i got a WS2 turboD and i like it, a tad louder than stock, doesnt look like a tin car, not at all raspy or it actually sounds like the car could have came with it.

i've heard 3 inch with magnaflow exhaust is quiet, and greddy evo and apexi ws. my buddy has a tanabe on a non turbo and it's real quiet. the thing is its hard to get the combination your talking about. if its quiet and looks stock it's going to have restriction.

Its pretty funny you say that because when I test drove the new 06 si when they were touring the country. It sounded just like a G35 exhaust. I was very surprised at the sound.
