Anyone happen to know the redline on a '98 Civic HB DX (D16Y7). I just wrapped up installing a Pivot tach, and am trying to figure out where to set the shiftpoints.

mine hit at like 6800...too bad thieves stole my tach otherwise id still be able to measure that ****

 

there is no such thing as redline biatch!!! i'm rick james, no but factory redline is roughly 6850

 

 

the revlimiter on mine kicks in at like 45 or something in 1st. the tranny has really long gears

 

no point in going that high.. that motor doesn't make much more power after 6000 anyway.. mine's set to 6500.. but i don't rev it up all day long..

1st = 40ish
2nd = 75
3rd = 115
4th = PYDTS if you find out
5th = car go boom

 

putting an ex cluster in the dash looks alot cleaner IMO

haha the highes i got in 4th was like 122 or something it would go much faster
