Default I am now an ADDICT!

Finally got my car done today after getting all the kinks out. All I have to say is Boost is simple....AWESOME. I am only boosting 4.5 psi but OMG what a difference, I have been whooping on mustangs and camaro's **EDIT OUT** with only one loss. A 13.1 mustang gt a friend of mine has. I was supprised that there wasnt that big of a gap from him being infront. Setup as follows:

1994 Del Sol VTEC (B16a3 OBD1)

Custom "log style" manifold
16G turbo (internal wastegate was welded shut)
Tial 38MM 5psi spring
??? brand intercooler (johnny race car "style" but its 3 inches thick"
custom IC piping
DSM BOV
440cc injectors
walbro 255 fuel pump
VAFC

Right now the butt dyno is still in amazement, I only put 13 miles on it because I had to goto work BUT IT WAS AWESOME

I do need a little help though. I have a small injector leak. (farthest one to passenger side) I have tooken it apart and retried putting them in and the same thing, it doesnt drip at idle but whenever I got back from my ride there was a really small puddle in the runner area of gas. I just don't understand it.

ALSO one other problem, 5 minutes into my drive my brakes went out. They worked PERFECT before the install, now the peddle has to be mashed to the floor just to get the preassure that 1/4 of regular breaking preassure would give me. It was very scarey since my brakes went out WHILE DRIVING.

Any help on either of those sides would be perfect, THANKS! Dyno #'s hopefully in a couple weeks

PS - to all the VAFC haters, it works flawlessly, just need to tune it

EDIT:
2.5 catco cat
3 inch exhaust piping
3 inch inlet HKS Carbon/Titanium Exhaust

Underhood fuel leaks = engine fire! Get that **** fixed man. Check the o-rings or something.

As for the brakes, I'd check the brake booster vac line, and make sure the master cyl. resevoir has fluid in it.

plenty of fluid and brake boost line seems ok, Maybe I will try replacing it?

I will double check everything, maybe I will try to double o-ring it, I have heard of people doing this before.

check your O rings for the leak...99% of the time it's a torn O ring.

and not bashing on you but how'd you whoop on domestics all day when you only put down 13 miles on your car all day?

afc hack poor man's hondata(well that's what it used to be called.)

13 miles withalot of street tuning We would drive around stop in a parking lot, tune it out, test it on a passer buy and then swing into another parking lot, double check stuff, have some more fun, blew a charge pipe, stop fix it, have some more fun. I mainly went up and down the main drag through my town. Kinda funny since I had no front bumper I had people staring wondering wtf (was in a hurry to test it out)

Edit: also sorry for the wrong wording, we only had it out of my house for about 2 hours, but that includes a stop at autozone for a hoseclamp

LOL, i know what you mean. i know whenever i tune my car out in the streets by my work i drive up and down the street like a bat out of hell. there are hardly any cars that drive on that road though so it's safe to do so. getting 13 miles out of driving like that is hard to do...10 runs and i'm usually good...probably equals 3 miles total.

I was having the same problem with the injector leaking, and after buying new o-rings from honda it fixed the problem, no leaking whatsoever. Definitely replace the o rings.

the brake booster runs off of vacume so the braking will be harder in boost, kinda like a huge cam in a v8, they use hydraulic assisted brakes

whatever injector is leaking, has a torn o-ring on the top of it.

brakes worked fine the first 5 minutes of street tuning, did a couple "getting in it" tests and ran into my friend with the 13.1 mustang, started from a stop and gunned it, light ahead turned yellow so I went to use the brakes and the brake peddle was mashed to the floor and I hardly had any resistance to stop me.

All I can think of is the brake boost vacume line has something wrong with it???? But I double checked everything and it seems fine, my brakes are fairly new (only 1000 miles on em) so I dunno what to think, also my brake fluid is full.

Or that you're going much faster than usual, so it takes more brakes than you're used to. I've noticed this multiple times before.

trust me, a friend said the same thing and when he almost ran off the road while driving my car he said the breaks wern't working

I am clueless about vacume lines, could there be not enough preassure now that I am using it for something else?

In the vacuum line that goes to the brake booster there is a oneway valve that can fail. take it out and check it. it should only let you blow/suck one way though it even a little leak the wrong way will effect your brakes in a big way

Uh oh...the addiction has sunk in!!!

Now, it's all over...once you start boosting you can't stop!

I don't know what your brake problem could be...it shouldn't have been affected by the turbo install. I don't think at least...
