overheating question

Default overheating question

ok i have a 90 crx si...with a b16..i took out the ac so i obviously took out the ac fan...but i have noticed that my radiator fan never kicks on...i tried wiring it straight to the battery..still nothing...is it safe to run without one or could i use one off of an older civic..or what???

I think you need the fan, othewise you will run the risk of the water not being cold enought to actually do anything when the thermostat opens up. I would work on replacing the fan perhaps.
