Default Looking to lose some weight!

I know weight loss has been covered tons of times and I was reading through searched ****, but I would like some opinions. I helped my friend remove his cruise control today. Woo, 2 pounds. We want to remove something else, what is the easiest and most significant drop of weight we can do?

i'd say sunroof. not easy but 50 lbs off the top of the car is a lot.

get a CF plug or make yourself a sheetmetal plug.

There are many things you can do to loose weight:
Remove Sound deadening
Rear seats
Anything in the trunk
Spare Tire and Jack (make sure you have your AAA card )
Power steering
Cruise control
A/C.....
The list goes on and on. But the best weight reduction you can make is fuel. Right before race time make sure you have no more than a 1/4 tank of fuel.

Good call with the 1/4 tank gas idea... I never would have thought of that

Running on as little gas as possible is a great way to lose weight. I have some buddies who know exactly how much it takes to travel to the track, run the 1/4, and make it to the nearest gas station.... but that's going to extremes

Maybe this is just me, but my car seems quicker when it has alot of gas..... The fuel response is shitty when I have a 1/4 tank or less. ????? anyone else feel this way?

LOL... yeah, go buy a membership to the gym.

Front bumper reinforcement, a/c and condensor, cruise control, stock muffler, stock header, reinforcement bars, wires, carpet, racing seats, dash, airbags, smaller battery (odyssey or new optima for civic/integra), light weight wheels, windshield wipers and fluid (use it all up), carbon trunk, false doors (OEM doors with everything gutted/cut out), sound system, sunroof and motor, trunk lock, hood latch, power mirrors

i have been able to master that one!! I mean if you did run out of gas, your are at a drag strip, someone will have some!! I go in with 4 bars lit up and then come out with the gas light on!
