Default what engines can i put in my rex

ok i have a b16sir 2 with hydro tranny i can sell that and get a 1st gen b16 or my buddy has given me a b18a out of an integra but it has a auto tranny i figure i can get a cable b16 tranny for a couple hundred bucks or so my heart is set on ls/vtec turbo set up i have searched for a site or thread sayin what can and what cannot go in a 91 crx anyone have any ideas whats best ????thanks

Actually, You should put a small block 350 in it and make it RWD.

Engines that fit in the 88-91 CRX Chassis are as follows...d16a6, d16y8, d16z6, d15b, b18c1, b18c5, b18a, b18b, b17a, H22, b16a, b16b...Im sure I missed some but you get the point.

Try using the search button...click on the Archive button...scroll to Tech or CRX/EF on the menu and type in b16a swap. Or sumthing like that.

yea, the most popular is probably the b16 swap. there a tons and tons of write ups on this subject

that is a scary pic, what does it run? or is it for show? well Ls/Vtec would be nice If you did it the correct way, which many dont and blow their freshly built motor, or just ls turbo b16's are common and nice, why not just pic up a b16 lsd tranny and use that
