In actuallity the proper way to make a turbo manifold is too brace it so you remove the stress from the manifold. Turbo manifold are not made to support turbo charger weight. They are made to decrease lag time smoother vacuum to boost transition etc etc etc.
In my opinion the OBX manifold was crap to begin with. With or without a brace you will undoubtedly still have issues with cracking

i seriously doubt the wieght of the turbo caused all those cracks,
ive never seen a manifold crack like that only because the turbo wasnt braced,
ive yet to see someone brace the turbo with love fab or full race manifolds, drag or revhard as well.

Welcome to lack of proper bracing thats all thats wrong with them i know guys who have bought them and braced them and have had them for 2 years not one prob.

You havent seen very many manifodls then.
You seem to forget i see stainelss all day long. The manifold failure on the OBX is probably due to a number of things but the biggeest 2 being improper fabrication and not supporting the weight of the turbocharger.

yea the stuff these manifolds are made with just sucks. They are way too thin. I believe that they should work fine if properly braced though. I mean the design isn't all that bad...just the material sucks.
my manifold was braced and guess what i have about 6 cracks in it and my car is all taken apart... go ahead and by the obx but dont say i didnt tell you so... the cracks are everywhere some start at the welds some are just dead in the middle of the pipes..... OBX IS ****... never buy anything from them..

I am curious how many full race or lovefab manifolds you actually have seen braced?
I have yet to see one braced... I do not "see stainless all day long" ,but like slowpokesi I have seen quite a few.
and yeah sad another person agian proves OBX is the crack master deluxe manifold.
