I have a feeling that it is the motor mounts. When i shift gears, the entire car rocks back and force for a second and then normal driving until I shift again. Also, if I take my foot off the gas, it rocks, when i press the gas, it rocks again.

Would some Energy Suspension mount inserts fix this?

 

check your motor mounts, especially the one on the tranny. The inserts might fix it depending on what is broken. When checking your mounts, if you see that it's just the rubber bushing that has cracked, then the energy or Prothane (my choice ) should fix this problem.

When this happened to my last teg, I had custom solid race mounts installed, it was a bit harsher ride, but I loved it.

yup, definately motor mounts. go with some energy suspension motor mounts and make sure everything is really tight, it makes a hell of a difference
