ok my friend has a 94 hatch with a b16 in it and he has a cel light....but when we try to check to code the srs light blinks instead of the cel light....what could make it do this???

 

try looking for another conector in the same area as it sounds like you have pluged into the air bag and not the cel.

htere is a plug with three prongs and a plug with 2 prongs.... i jumped the one with 2 prongs .....i did the exact same thing on my car and it gave me the code just fine... i know it is the right one that i jumped...

i already checked it..it was vss...if he still has one and it doesnt blink his ecu is prolly ****.

 

ya we replaced the vss and reset the ecu and he had another cel.. but the srs blinks instead of the cel................
