After swap, a Great swap I will add, CEL comes on after a short drive and stays on till ignition turned off. Checking for code(s) ,with CEL ,the CEL just stays on (no Blink) so now what.... is the ECU bad?

if the code goes away after you turn it off, and comes on after a little driving, it is usually an o2 sensor. but you need to pull the code out of the ecu first. there is a 2 pin connector near the ecu plugged into nothing. jump those 2 wires. slow flashes = 10 fast flashes = 1 so if it was slow slow slow fast fast fast thats a 33.

Thanks all, I know where the check conn. is and how to jump it to flash codes... the problem is that it doesn't blink or anything , it just is on . Does that mean the ECU is bad ? Has anyone wired in an OBD2 DLC to use a scan tool ?

So what do you suggest when you jump the connector , turn the key on and the CEL stays ON ! ! !
