Default CRVTEC turbo R.C. 310 cc injectors, AEM FPR and rail, 10:1 FMU, inline MSD pump, VAFC..what is wrong

Why does this setup fall flat on its face when boost commences? Newbie here. I appreciate your opinions.

I would say the 310cc injectors, try going to 440cc.

How much boost you running? What about your ignition timing? Got an a/f gauge?

With 310's you need an 8:1 FMU disk and what type of turbo setup are you running( which turbo, wastegate, sparkplugs, etc...)

It's prob the 10:1 FMU disk....I bet it's feeding to much fuel when your boosting, causing it to run rich when you not.....
And be sure to gap your plugs to .32

Do you think leaning it out with the VAFC as well would help? Or can that be done?

When I had 310 inj. and a 8:1 fmu i was running really lean before vtec, after vtec i was still rich so i had to lean the fuel out with the vafc. I ended up using the 10:1 and just leaned the top end out and the low end was fine.

timing at -16
try turning the timing back to normal. -16 it will run like ****. at 3-5psi boost you shouldnt need any ignition retard. I was running 12psi on pump gas with no ignition retard what-so-ever.
