Hey everybody. I just recently finished putting a drag gen 3 kit on my car. It was kind of a pain in the ***. I had to adapt it to work with a.c. It was definitely not a.c. friendly like they said. I had an oil leak, which I took to the shop to get fixed. After that it was o.k. but then it started to jerk when I accelerated, mainly just in 2nd gear. The check engine light also came on. I think I might need a fuel pump. I am just running the vortech fmu. Would that solve the problem? Could that be the cause of the check engine light? If I do need a fuel pump, which is a good one to get? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

well if you dont have an inline pump (which is nessecary for an fmu setup) then you need one badly.

Because you let your map sensor see boost?

check valves, missing link?

First of all, did you even check to see what the Light code is? If not go check and you know what it trying to tell you.

Second ditch the FMU, and get some real stand alone so you wont blow that thing in a week or two.
