Default turbocharged D16 vs. Stock H22.... who would win???

ok.. this guy has a stock H22A in a 93 Civic HB and we said once i get my turbo installed then we could run for about $100. i will be running a D16 Vtec with a rhb5 custom turbo kit boostin out 5-8psi. then turbo is supposedly a 100+ HP gain, so that would technically put my car at 225-240 HP. think it would be a good run???

let me know

wit ur PSI level and setup, id say the h22 hatch would win, i dont see that kit at 5-8psi yeilding 230whp

yea, really the kit is not going to produce that much power, id say it might make a little more if tuned, but the h22 is going to win do to the fact of the numbers. But it would be a good race, let me know the winner

it will take 10-12 PSI (atleast). Then it all should come down to good driving. How good are u compared to him. A good driver, with some good street radials can hit 13's in the quarter with a stock H22A in a hatch.

@ 6psi in my full interior coupe (on my old T3 60 trim) i've beaten h22 ludes, an h22 in a hatch with work will probably give u a beating though

Leaving winning out of it, I would take the turbo'd car since they are so much more fun to drive..
