H22 hatch maniacs!
Hey you luders. i was wandering what your h22 powered hatch runs in the Quarter mile. My friend is planning on building a 10 second drag hatch, and i told him H22 is the way to go. How about this, H22+all the boltons+100 Nos=10 seconds?
Or h22+turbo with stock internals running say...9 psi= 10? Anone with some experience in this please show me the way to go.

H22 is the way to go, but neither of those would run 10s. 100 shot isn't enough and neither is 9 psi. i'd say in order to get 10s with an h22 with stock internals, go turbo, get it tuned dead nuts, and run ~18 psi. <-- it's possible (inline pro). with nitrous, you'd prolly have to spray 200 shot and have it tuned dead nuts so you wouldn't blow on your first pass.

Re: H22 hatch maniacs! (Salvatore Leone)
How can i run stock internals and boost 18 psi? Besides, arent there limited space issues if an H22 is inserted into a hatch engine bay? where do you fit the turbo? I did some estimate guessing: H22=200 HP + Intake, headers, no cat or muff. +race cams+Hondata ECU + uderdrive pulleys + pro tuned+ port polish and shaved head should = 260 HP. With a 150 shot of nitrous, proffesional tuning, drag slick tires and a fully guted 1600 lb 90 DX i would expect a low eleven high 10 second car right? With good driving ofcourse.

Re: H22 hatch maniacs! (hondaatwsu)
^^ well that is my LONG TERM goal. im jes getting the basics now like swap then bpu and so on. im not gunna build this 10 sec monster anytime real soon. im still honeslty not ready for that yet and i know this but yes that is my longh term goal. i do however no enough to get it in the low 13 sec range. and i am still kinda new to hondas. i used to be 100% mitsubishi. soif you ask me for a link i can give you all of them. well alot anyways. so how can i become knowledgeable about them hondas with out a lil help. i was jes askin ,since the has pretty much only brakes and thats it, if i would need some electrical things.

well even if their customer service sucks, it doesn't matter..it's your only choice. Besides, they have EVERYTHING you need for the EF swap..axles, mounts, crossmember/radiator section.

http://www.placeracing.com The site is being rebuilt right now. Pray to god that you never break anything you get form them. Sure they will replace it for you but it takes forever. A mount and axle for a H22 into a 92 HB took close to 8 months for them send out after they received the broken parts.
