i have a quick question. can a h22a engine harness be modified to work with an h23a1? if so then how. i need an engine harness for my h23 swap in my hatch. i have access to a jdm h22 harness and id like to know if i can some how use that. cant use the h23 harness because thats on the h22. the guy at the shop couldnt figure out a way to use the h22 harness. any help is appreciated. i need to find some kind of harness that will work ASAP.

 

the only diff between an h23 and h22 harness is the vtec wiring, all else is identical. and the guy at teh shop is a ******* retard for trying to use an h22a harness, he need to take the original civic engine harness and mod ify it to fit the new engine.

 

he wasnt trying to use the h22a harness on the civic he was trying to use it on the prelude.

 

well i assumed you were putting an h23a1 into your civic cx shell. to make that happen i wold use the civic cx engine harness and moidfy it with pieces of the H series harness that you vut out of the H series harness and splice into the D series harness.

 

could these pieces be taken off the h22a harness? what pieces would need to be used? using anything from the h23a1 harness is not an option because that harness was put on the h22a which is now in my friends lude.

 

jsut use what you need fromt eh H series harness, the h23 and h22 harnesses are almsot all teh same anyway. the onyl plugs you woul dneed ot tangle with are for egr, knock and iab anyway. hell you could even use a most any ohter harness to scavenge plugs from as well.
