Default Hollow out my cat! I need help....

Im bad at searching but how do i hollow out my cat? is it better to buy one of those 30 dollar ones off ebay? Please help..

Check out a hunting supply store, or maybe a taxidermy shop...

But seriously, I'd say buy a 30 dollar one so you can have a working cat if you ever have an emissions test...

take the cat off the car.. place it on the floor then take a big pry bar and hit it on the end with a hammer.. flip it around a couple of time and make sure you get the metal screens out took me 10 min. to gut my cat.. just make sure you do it in a vented area and try not to breath it in.. hope it works for ya..

yeah that sounds like it would work, but i've also heard of people burning it out?? not sure if this is a good way of doing it or if your is better, but i've heard of both ways.... just my .02

you could just hammer it out, but you are actually better off getting a high flow cat. It helps emissions sound and flow. My .02

You can always sell a functional cat for more than what one of those ebay ones are worth. So I'd say, get the ebay one.

yea i would say def. just buy a cheap one from ebay, or custom in a straight pipe that you can take out and bolt up your stock cat to pass emissions if you are worried about that...

Yeah dude, just go high flow cat...my eg with a dohc, header/exhaust still passes emissions easly

new cat = $400 from honda. unless its broken, i'd just find a cheap used one or buy a $10 test pipe
