Clip broken on wiring harness
Aight, I have been wonderin' about this spare wire without a clip i have dangelin' on my wiring harness the whole time I've been removing my engine. Well today I went to unhook the final clips, one of which being my vtec solenoid (93 VX)
. Unhook the clip to the vtec solenoid, and WTF.... there is no wire? Then my brain starts making connections, and I realize it's that dangeling wire. Thank god it's nothing cruicial to the engine running, but I want my vtec
. Is there any way to pop the wire out of the clip and re-solder that part to the origional wire?

i had pretty much the same thing happen to me while doing my swap.
(ghetto rigged it, but it works fine)
I cut off the extra plastic in the way of where the wire goes into the connection...there is a little circle metal clamp that you will be putting the wire in and smash it down to keep it in place. I used a small pointed screw driver...re-opened the metal clamp-stuck the wire in then used the same screw driver to press the clamp down to get a metal to metal connection. works great. i should have soldered it,,,,but it worked then...i always say ill get around to it...never found the need. fix yours house you want..i was just trying to put in my $$ 0.02
