Default What happens if my ECU harness doesnt have an A11 wire

So I had an obd2a harness for my 97 civic that was rearended. I have the s300 with boost control which had the solenoid wired into the A11 wire. Well my new car is a 99 which means a different harness. This one doesnt have the wire in the A11 pin. Not really sure what to do

with out digging to deep into the problem. running an extra wire from where a11 would be to where ever it needs to go is easy. There are plenty of wiring diagrams to match up your pins.

Remove a pin from your old harness and stick it into the Blank A11 spot, if you use a small metal pick you can get into the connector and release the plastic tab that holds the pin in place. It takes some practice but once you figure it out your golden, I have a small box full of spare pins with the wiring still attached for this very reason.

Does your conversion harness have the A11 Pin? I am kind of confused by your post,,,

All you need to do is add the pin from some other OBD1 harness. It is simple to do once you get the pin out of the old harness.

Of coarse A11 is not there, its not used natively.
Your supposed to add it, thats the whole point.

These people are telling you to remove a pin+wire from your old harness, and stick it into the new harness. It's simple, and there are write-ups showing how - google it.

The other thing you can do is look up a complete pin-out diagram, find **** your car doesn't have (but still has wires/pins for), and move the wires from your chassis harness to your conversion harness.

Here's a hint: chances are you can use the knock sensor pin+wire, since s300 won't use that anyways.

If you are coming up on thursday I can add the wire in there for you in about 10 seconds. It is very simple and I have a bunch of spares I keep around for this reason.
