Are you talking about TDC?
Are you talking about TDC?
Line up the white mark on the crank with the pointer on the timing belt cover.
If your trying to line up cyl #1, make sure the word "up" on the cam/s is pointing up.

But you'll have to take off the upper timing belt cover to see this. Just to let you know

the marks on the timing belt cover ur talking about are the lil tiny like traingular notches that are two on top, and 1 under them? like an inch or two away fromt he timing belt tensioner bolt?
The white line is the one you line up with the guide on the timing cover when you time it. That is where 12 deg. BTDC is while timing, so maybe that's what you're looking for. I can't imagine why, though.

Yes.
Line them up (like a gun sight) with the white mark on the crank pulley. That will either put you at Top Dead Center on #1 or #4 cly, depending on where your cam is.
There are 4 marks on your crankshaft.
white is TDC
then there is a red mark with marks both before and after it.
these marks represent 14,16, and 18 degrees Before Top Dead Center.
