The main reason why people's field vtec controllers don't work is because they try to adjust them when the engine is running. NEVER touch it while the engine is running. If you wired it to turn on when the igition is in the on position then just turn the key to the on position and adjust there with the engine off. Before my vtec controller made my car run like ****, when I started to mess with it while the engine was on it'd throw codes 3 and 7 i think (map and injectors). Someone told me about it and now it works great, but only if you use it right. If it is screwing everything up just unplug the ecu and controller and reset the ecu.

Dude I have one of these FLAMING pieces of **** on my CRX w/B16A PR3 ecu DO NOT HOOK THIS UP it is not worth it if you bought it return it if it was free sell it. Now heres my story I bought mine in late 98 when it was the IN thing hooked it up on my old 97 ex single cam never noticed any diffrence well about 4 months ago I thought I'll hook it up on my CRX and see how it works well after searching on the net for about a week I found the directions in english hooked it up and my car started to run like **** so after I checked all connections which were ok I decided to experiment a liitle more and run a shielded wire for the 2 map wires from the ECU all the way to the back of the controller and then my car ran ok. Now I'm sure your asking your self if its so bad why does he still have it hooked up? Well about 1 1/2 months ago my crx was totaled IMO by a guy with no insurance otherwise I would have taken that thing out and bought a hondata or a VAFC. And again do yourself a favor and dont bother with that junk *** thing.

terminate meaning cap it off and end the wire. in other words don't connect it to anything and make sure no current can get to the wires. btw i don't like my fields sfc boxer 2 on my d16z6 minime. it's messing up my map sensor but otherwise vtec control works fine.

Hahahha you people must not know how to wire up the VTEC controller... With the fuel controller and VTEC control, we tuned my car on the dyno and saw 18 HP over stock tuning at redline with ITR cams and intake, JG TB.... Put the VTEC at 4000 and got rid of my speed cut. Worked great for me til I got my Z-Dyne for my turbo setup... We also had a Shogun tuner on my car and only got 4 more HP over the Field unit just from finer tuning adjustments...

I'm selling my Field VETC controller for 150, with english instructions and wiring, in original box, but no packing materials. Buyer pays shipping.
