could someone explain to me what a vtec controller actually does and if it is of any use on a stock engine. basically i have 91 crx si and in the process of installing a B16A and am planning on running nirtous on it depending on how well the engine runs.

 

the v-tec controller does help as you get into v-tec sooner like 4grand instead of 6 grand so I would say it would not help but you could just run v-tec longer
