I use sylvania silverstars, had them for a year and still going strong. I also noticed a difference in visisbility using these bulbs.

HID bulbs are useless with their associated ballasts...

did you want Real HID's or just bulb replacements. Lots of people call aftermarket bulbs.. HID's but HID's are the headlights that use ballasts. But if you want just the bulb replacement type.. Silver Stars are one of the better performing ones and you get them just about anywhere.

the hole silverstar thing is kind of confusing me. i've heard some people say they're the best bulbs ever and last a long time. others say not to buy them bc they blow quickly.

my personal experience: bought a pair of silverstars
passenger side bulb blows in 1 month
driver's side bulb blows 2 weeks after that

i think i'm done with those.

you could always go the expensive route and just buy piaa

All of you that say silverstars have 4th gens correct????

If you switched to an aftermarket bulb in a 5th gen, you will blow them regularly.
The longest i could get one to last was 2-3 months TOPS, then they explode. you replace one side, to have the other blow, then the one you just replaced blows. Just sick to OEM bulbs unless you go to a full HID system.

go to http://www.powerbulb.com and do alittle research for yourself. i got the blues and I think that what your looking for. they are pretty bright. i would not recommend pia because i hear they only work well with high voltage, with low voltage they burn out too easily. plus pia are rip off
