I didn't know there was even an 88-89 EX......well anyways it should be just a direct swap, as it it will bolt right on, but I don't know much about tach wiring if your car doesn't come with it factory equipped.

will work expect there isn't any EX for the 88-89
the Ex model was started in 90 and then above u know
make sure u get the hood for it too
